o much more than just your basic photography course, this 2 day workshop ignites your passion for making visual images in an exquisitely landscaped 25 acre tropical studio retreat and luxury accommodation located in the beautiful Byron Hinterland, just 15 minutes from Byron Bay. The workshop introduces you to the early beginnings of photography to exploring contemporary photography today through a series of lectures and discussions, as well as developing your ability to master the basics of digital photography to allow you more freedom and control top create the images you really want! Over 2 full days and nights, we will explore how to get more out of your camera, composition, lighting, and basic post production work to fine tune your images. We will finish with getting those images off your hard drive and turning them into a unique keepsake, with an introduction to creating beautiful photo books.

Now for something completely different! This 2 day introductory workshop explores the origins of photography through an informative and practical introduction to early 19th century historic photographic print out processes. Set in an exquisitely landscaped 25 acre tropical studio retreat and luxury accommodation located in the Byron Hinterland, just 15 minutes from Byron Bay, this experience is unique and hands on. You will learn about the history of some of these beautiful early processes and then create your own hand crafted, one of a kind photographic artworks. All materials are provided, just bring your imagination and be ready to experience the creative freedom of the hand crafted image. Limited to 6 participants.
